First-party extensions for octet. Install one with a single command, then turn it on when you want it. Each is built and signed with its octet release.
Installing doesn’t enable a package or trust it. Enable it from /extensions, or start octet with --enable-extension NAME.

Hand a bounded task to a background worker while your main session carries on. octet owns the child conversations, permissions, limits and shutdown.

Connect the MCP tool servers you’ve configured. Local stdio servers work, and remote Streamable HTTP is blocked by default. octet never discovers or installs servers for you.

Operate native desktop apps through a locally installed Cua Driver (MIT licensed). Setup is explicit, and the OS permissions are yours to grant.
Windows and Linux support isn’t yet verified to match macOS.

A visible, isolated Chromium window for inspecting pages and taking bounded actions. You sign in yourself, and it never uses your normal browser profile.
Prefer computer use for new automation. Browse stays the safer choice for anything behind a login.
